Qualifications

RDA - preferred

CDA – preferred

Radiology certification – preferred

DAANCE – preferred

1 year in oral surgery preferred

CPR certification – required

Job Description:

We are a premier Oral Surgery practice in Williamsville specializing in wisdom teeth removal and dental implants looking to hire a FT oral surgery assistant. The ideal candidate for this position must be highly dependable, motivated, friendly, and a team player. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere while providing compassionate and patient-centered care. Responsibilities:

-Provide assistance to oral surgeon during procedures, including preparation and documentation

-Must be familiar with infection control practices

-Educate clients on treatment plans and post-operative care

-Provide high-quality clinical support to surgeon, including charting, operatory set-up, and sterilization

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while displaying excellent interpersonal skills

-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in-writing

-Take/display radiographs at consultations or during surgical procedures

-Create a friendly and inviting environment that emphasizes patient care

Added Bonuses

-Proficiency in typing and computer literacy

-Ability to maintain sterile technique

-Experience with IV sedation

Job Types: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift - 7:30am - 5pm
• Mon, Tues, Thurs, half day Fri
