Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Assist customers with product demos, answering questions about features and benefits to encourage sales
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure products are well-presented through effective merchandising techniques
• Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services that meet customer needs
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels
• Support product demonstrations and promotional events to boost sales and customer engagement

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities to serve diverse customers
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and perform physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandising
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and proactive approach to assisting shoppers
• Familiarity with grocery store operations or retail environments is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.50 - $16.25 per hour
