Job description:
70E Solutions, an established family-owned electrical safety business, is actively seeking an eager and self-motivated GDT Inside Sales Specialist to join our expanding team in Butler, PA. This role is integral to our Government Defense Team (GDT) and serves as a key supporting administrative role to our Outside Sales Representatives.
Candidates with a background in government sales, inside sales, defense contracting, quoting, procurement, compliance, customer service, manufacturing coordination, or administrative support are preferred, though it is not a strict requirement. A working knowledge of hand tools, construction tools, industrial products, or manufacturing processes is a must.
The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for facilitating quotation activities, approving inputs, checking manufacturability, and helping manage quotes through completion. You must be comfortable reaching out to vendors and manufacturers to obtain additional information. Most importantly, you take pride in ensuring the quality of your work, maintaining accuracy, and supporting customer satisfaction.
This role requires someone who can work independently, stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and complete tasks within tight timelines to support the warfighter.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales and achieve targets
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support Outside Sales Representatives with quoting activities, customer communication, and administrative coordination
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively communicate value propositions to customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment
- Provide accurate quotes based on NSN and part numbers
- Authenticate country of origin requirements for quoted items
- Ensure all quoted items comply with necessary standards and specifications
- Collaborate directly with vendors and manufacturers
- Assist in the receipt of items and assembling of kits
- Ensure precision and accuracy in all customer interactions and quotations
- Adhere to 70E Solutions standards for all correspondence and documentation
- Maintain structured and organized files and records
- Assist in the development and creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Complete tasks within tight timelines to support government and defense customers
Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in quoting, pricing, inside sales, procurement, customer support, or a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to analyze requirements, identify solutions, and provide recommendations to meet project budgets
- Proven ability to work well in a team setting while also being self-motivated
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Independent working capabilities while also asking questions when needed
- Dedicated, punctual, and detail-oriented mindset
- Motivated to grow within a company
- Experience with CRM software and sales tools is a plus
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a clean background check

Compensation Details:
- Base salary starting at $48,000 PLUS commission
