Job Summary
We are seeking an attentive and dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the facility's cleanliness and ensuring our customers have a seamless experience--whether they are doing their own laundry or using our drop-off service. and proper handling of linens, towels, and other textiles in a fast-paced environment. Experience with laundry operations is preferred. This role is essential in ensuring our guests receive fresh, high-quality linens and a clean environment.
Key Responsibilities
Facility and Machine Maintenance:
- Maintain overall cleanliness of the laundromat, including floors, folding areas, and counters
- Regularly clean and sanitize all washers, dryers, and lint traps
- Ensure the bathroom is clean, stocked, and well-maintained
- Perform basic trouble-shooting and report any machine malfunctions promptly
- Restock vending supplies (detergent, softeners, etc.) as needed
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with machine operation, payments, and service selection
- Answer customer questions clearly and help resolve any issues
- Offer guidance on wash cycles and products.
Drop-Off Landry Service:
- Receive and accurately tag customer drop-off orders
- Wash, dry, fold, and package laundry according to customer instructions and business standards
- Handle all garments with care and attention to detail
- Manage order tracking and notify customers when their laundry is ready
- Process payments for drop-off services
Qualifications / Requirements
- Must be proficient in English to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and patient demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail--especially when completing drop-off orders
- Prior experience in a laundry, retail, or customer service is a plus, but not required--we will train the right person!
