Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current LPN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont is required. Experience Gerontological nursing and knowledge of supervision techniques preferred. Able to read, write, and speak the English language. Demonstrate competence as a nursing practitioner. This is a bargaining union position. The University of Vermont Health Network/Porter Medical Center is located in the heart of beautiful Middlebury, Vermont. We are comprised of a 25-bed acute care facility, a 98-bed skilled nursing facility which includes a memory care unit, short-term rehabilitation unit and a long-term care unit, and a network of primary care and specialty medical practices throughout Addison county and the town of Brandon.
