What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Facilitator position at 7 Star Center?
This is an opportunity for a skilled and knowledgeable professional to lead a group session in an outpatient treatment setting. The ideal candidate will be able to guide a group of 13 individuals in an open forum covering subjects including mental and behavioral health topics.
Minimum Master degree in behavioral health/social services field required. Preference given to those registered with BBS.
Responsibilities:
- Work in a group setting with clients. (Hybrid Options Available)
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment team meetings.
- Participate in education programs for patients and family members, including presentations, small group discussions, and individual instruction/counseling sessions.
- Work with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
- Discuss appropriate medication regimens with patients and family members.
- Assist in the preparation of discharge summaries for patients and family members by providing relevant information to therapy staff.
- Assess patient progress.
- Document group notes in EMR system
