What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at 7 Spring?
Nestled on a vibrant block, 7 Spring is the first members club of its kind in New York City, converging timeless elegance, glamour and aesthetic. This 70-seat space is designed to foster a sense of community for those who share an interest in backgammon, imbibing, and dining.
The venue draws inspiration from bespoke European lounges where traditional luxury meets contemporary service. The food and beverage program is anchored by staples such as caviar, charcuteries, and more satiating options such as the roast beef and halibut dinners, served family style. Our wine list is carefully curated featuring an array of old world wines, while our refined cocktail offerings include house takes on classics as well as specialties.
- Serve guests during their visit, and assist in the preparation of beverage service, all while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way
- Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve them food and beverages, receive and process orders in the POS system in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure that guests have an outstanding experience and look immediately into any complaints
- Maintain cleanliness of bar countertops, and work areas
- Perform setup and breakdown of various stations
- Most importantly attend to our guests as if you are hosting them in your own home.
- At least 4 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants and or members clubs
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong Knowledge of Mixology
- Strong communication skills a must
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
