Position Summary:
In this role, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of cafe operations, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This role involves managing staff, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service. The General Manager will lead the team in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflects our brand values while driving revenue growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for brunch culture, and a commitment to excellence in serving our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service and food quality.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain processes.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff.
- Schedule staff and manage labor costs effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork.
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage the cafe budget, including sales forecasting and cost control.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Customer Experience
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Gather feedback to continuously improve the brunch experience.
Marketing and Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Engage with the community and build partnerships to enhance visibility.
- Coordinate events and promotions to boost business during peak hours.
Menu Development
- Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal and special menu items.
- Ensure menu items meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
- Monitor food trends to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
