Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices to attract customer attention
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking shelves, and conducting periodic stock counts
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions via phone or in person with clear communication and proper phone etiquette
- Support the team by supervising new or less experienced staff when needed, fostering a collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
