• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges while ensuring cash handling procedures are followed meticulously.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves to maintain an attractive and organized store environment.
• Manage phone etiquette professionally when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Support retail sales efforts by promoting special offers, loyalty programs, and new products through engaging communication.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area to ensure a smooth shopping experience for all customers.

Experience

• Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store setting is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
• Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training team members or managing daily operations.
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively.
• Strong communication skills are essential for engaging with customers confidently and clearly.
• Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques such as upselling and merchandising will help you excel in this role.
