Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food service orders in a timely manner
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit card, and digital payments with precision
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including food handling areas and cashier stations
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and operating kitchen equipment
- Ensure food safety standards and sanitation practices are consistently followed during all transactions and food service activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality for early morning shifts are essential
