Job Overview
We’re on the lookout for a friendly and motivated Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers find what they need, showcasing our products, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Whether you’re assisting with product demos or ringing up sales at the register, your enthusiasm will make a difference in every customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience.
• Assist shoppers by answering questions about products, features, and store promotions.
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight key features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts.
• Support inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing stock areas regularly.
• Follow proper phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely.

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are most important.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math helps in managing transactions efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to connect with diverse customers and team members.
• Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is beneficial.
• Supervising experience is an advantage for those interested in leadership roles within the team.

Pay: $16.90 - $17.00 per hour
