Position: New Stand Opening Manager (NSO)

Reports To: Director of Operations/Brand President

Starting pay $70,000- $80,000 Based on experience

Summary:

The New Stand Opening Manager is responsible for opening up new locations within their development territory on the expected development schedule, at times multiple location openings at the same time. They must exemplify the franchisees culture, mission statement, and core values. The NSO reports directly to the Director of Operations/Brand President. All positions begin with a 6-month probationary period.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with Brand President & Director of Operations to successfully open new stands (Minneapolis and Montana)
• Design the timeline of openings and update the New Stand Opening Tracker accordingly and as needed to keep the rest of the team members appraised of opening dates.
• Coordinate/manage the now hiring signs with marketing and process of hiring.
• Hire the entire new stand’s team along with the Stand Manager in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage setup of new accounts with corporate and Glow Brands.
• Locate external vendors, obtain multiple quotes for ongoing services needed at each location and manage the vendor relationships.
• Apply for necessary health permits in a timely manner, schedule health inspections and ensure health permits are received by necessary date.
• Coordinate deliveries of key opening items, such as swag day shirts.
• Coordinate/manage stand setup of all equipment so that the stand is operational before the first day of training. This includes equipment, technology, software, and all other required stand operations items needed to open for business.
• Develop the marketing schedule/drink drops with both the marketing and operations team to successfully market new locations for big openings. Bonuses are based on larger first week openings.
• Develop Swag Day stack layout, signage for effective traffic patterns and other marketing signage for the drive-thru lines.
• Develop and maintain good rapport and relationships with corporate team.
• Ensure overall opening process quality through implementation, monitoring, feedback, testing, competency evaluation and ongoing analysis of key metrics.
• Maintain proficiencies in all aspects of the job (Brewista, Stand Manager, machine maintenance, Woven, Crunch Time, POS, etc).
• Cultivate positive relationships with all teammates using communication and feedback.
• Gather feedback for company improvements by visiting stands, speaking to staff in person, and utilizing electronic forms of communication.
• Any other tasks noted from the Director of Operation and/or Brand President.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Training or experience in new location openings or combination of training and experience with extensive knowledge of 7 Brew Operations.
• Comprehension of adult learning, instructional design principles, and behavioral effectiveness skills.
• Dynamic and engaging presentation skills.
• Knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques.
• Adequate knowledge of Learning Management systems software.
• Proven record of strong relationship building, organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, active listening and persuasive negotiation skills and diplomacy with all levels of an organization.
• Must possess excellent analytical and planning skills.
• Proficiency in MS office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrates group cohesiveness and collaborates well with others.
• This position may include co-supervisory responsibilities working with Stand Managers throughout new Stand openings

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee is required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must be willing to work on ladders and lifts when needed. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 60 pounds by themselves and occasionally lift and move objects up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to obtain a passing score of 100 on applicable test every six months.

Work Schedule Requirements:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work generally fall within Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 pm but could include early mornings (5AM), late nights (11:30PM) and some weekends. This job operates remotely across Kueber Coffee groups.

Travel:

• 40% or more travel is expected for this position. This position will be required to travel throughout their development territory.
