7ALPHA seeks an STRTP Administrator. An STRTP Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and compliance of the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program. This role ensures that program operations meet all regulatory, contractual, and clinical standards established by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Department of Health Care Services (DHCS), and other oversight agencies. The Administrator provides strategic direction, supervises key staff, and ensures high-quality, trauma-informed care for residents. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the STRTP program, ensuring compliance with Title 22, Title 17, CCR, and STRTP regulationsEnsure licensing, certification, and contract requirements are maintained at all timesSupervise program management staff, including clinical, case management, and direct care leadershipDevelop, implement, and enforce program policies, procedures, and SOPsCoordinate with county placing agencies, probation departments, and external stakeholdersMonitor program quality, outcomes, and continuous quality improvement (CQI) effortsEnsure staff training, credentialing, and performance evaluations are completed timelyOversee incident reporting, corrective action plans, and regulatory audits/inspectionsManage program budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocationPromote a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment for residentsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or related fieldMinimum 2–4 years of leadership or administrative experience in an STRTP, group home, residential treatment facility, or child welfare settingDemonstrated knowledge of STRTP regulations, CDSS licensing requirementsExperience supervising multidisciplinary teamsStrong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPrior experience serving as an STRTP Administrator or Program DirectorExperience with accreditation, audits, and corrective action processesAdditional RequirementsAbility to pass DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearanceValid California driver’s license and clean driving recordCPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
