About the Role
The MSR Float plays a key front-line role in delivering exceptional service across multiple branch locations. This position builds positive relationships with members by providing accurate, friendly transactions and educating members on products and services that support their financial needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and account maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling and check processing policies.
- Meet referral and sales goals for deposits, loans, and member services.
- Greet members professionally and provide outstanding service experience.
- Assist with a variety of account services including:
- Savings bond redemption
- Visa cash advances
- ATM card issuance, qualification, and lost/stolen card support
- Remote delivery product applications and issue resolution
- Account openings, closures, and ownership changes
- IRA deposits and payroll/ACH setup
- Fraud claim reporting related to ATM, ACH, and check transactions
- Balance cash drawer and terminal daily.
- Maintain knowledge of Credit Union products, services, and resources.
- Travel to other branches as needed to support operations.
Work Environment
- Primarily office/branch environment with moderate noise levels.
- Occasional work in outdoor weather conditions.
- Limited exposure to moving mechanical parts.

Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience & Skills:
- High accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and positive attitude.
- Ability to problem-solve, make sound decisions, and manage time effectively.
- Proficient with calculators and Windows-based computer systems.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

- Ability to travel between branches as business needs dictate.
