  Cascade Park Vista, one ofTacoma's leading affordable Assisted Living communities, is looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Part-Time Cook to join our Dining Services team!

  At Cascade Park Vista, meals are about more than food-they are an important part of our residents' daily experience. As a Cook, you'll help prepare nutritious, appealing meals for approximately 100 residents, while contributing to a welcoming dining experience that feels like home.
  WHAT YOU'LL DO
  
  As part of our Dining Services team, you will:
  
  • Prepare and assist with a variety of meals according to menus and recipes
  • Help ensure meals are prepared and served safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Assist with food preparation, portioning, and proper food storage
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area
  • Wash and properly store dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment as needed
  • Receive and properly store food and supply deliveries
  • Keep dry storage, refrigerators, freezers, and work areas organized
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and EcoLab procedures
  • Assist with trash removal and routine kitchen cleaning
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef and Dining Services team to provide an excellent experience for our residents

  QUALIFICATIONS
  
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous kitchen, restaurant, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred
  • Current Food Worker Card
  • Ability to meet applicable federal, state, and local requirements
