Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts with precision and creativity
• Decorate cakes and confections using piping techniques, fondant, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications
• Package finished products efficiently for retail or catering purposes while maintaining presentation standards
• Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and safety guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
• Support food handling procedures ensuring all products meet quality standards and hygiene requirements
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders for events, retail sales, or catering services

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food industry setting
• Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife handling
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
• Prior experience in food production or catering environments preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
• Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in culinary tasks such as baking, food presentation, and packaging
• Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail and creativity in decorating cakes and desserts
