What you’ll do

• Represent clients in various litigation matters, including estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and tribal law & regulations.
• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to build compelling cases.
• Draft and file legal documents with precision and clarity, showcasing your strong writing skills and attention to detail.
• Negotiate settlements effectively on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strategize on case management and share insights on best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of case progress and communicate updates to clients regularly.
• Provide legal administrative support as needed to ensure smooth office operations.

Basic qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.

Preferred qualifications

• Proven experience in litigation with a focus on multiple areas of law mentioned above.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.
• Prior experience in a law office environment is highly desirable.
