We are expanding our operations and looking for a hardworking and safety-minded Loader to join our team. Position Overview
The Loader is responsible for loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and freight, organizing items for transport, and supporting drivers during moving and delivery tasks. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, and boxed items from trucks and delivery vehicles
- Pack, wrap, and secure items to prevent damage during transport
- Safely move items using dollies, hand trucks, straps, and other moving equipment
- Assist drivers during pickups and deliveries at homes and businesses
- Organize freight within the truck to maximize space and ensure safe transport
- Inspect items for damage before and after moving
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service during onsite moves and deliveries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in moving, delivery, warehouse, or loading roles preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 50–75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
- Comfortable performing physical labor and working on feet for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of moving tools and equipment (dollies, straps, blankets, etc.)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under time pressure
- Valid driver’s license is a plus
