We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our already successful team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various automotive issues, ensuring that vehicles are safe and performing at their best. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise with hand tools and power tools to deliver high-quality service. This is an opportunity to grow your skills in Successful shop with climate controlled shop such as a/c in the summer months, and well heated in the cold winter months.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and provide accurate estimates for repairs.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to enhance workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership setting.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and repair techniques, on all Makes and models.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with powertrain systems and diesel engine repair is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
