Job Summary
This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in the sign industry and learn fabrication, illumination and installation from an experienced team. You’ll have the chance to learn about metal fabrication, electrical components, and signage production from the ground up.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist with fabrication of channel letters (face-lit, halo-lit, trimless)
- Support building of illuminated cabinets and basic metal fabrication
- Help install LED lighting (wiring, power supplies, etc.)
- Assist installation crews on job sites as needed
- Maintain facility cleanliness, organization, and supply levels
QUALIFICATIONS
- Metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Able to lift 80 lbs
- Proficiency in using power tools
- Experience with finishing, painting and/or working with acrylic a plus.
- Must be comfortable using a computer/mobile device for email, job instructions, time tracking.
- Basic math skills are a must.
- Must be a punctual, organized, independent worker with great time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively independently AND in a team environment.
COMPENSATION BENEFITS
- Pay and other benefits commensurate with experience and eligibility.
- $17–$21/hr starting pay, with higher rates based on skills and growth
