Responsibilities
- Utilize Trimble GPS Systems
- Collaboration. Work with team members and superiors to determine the best solution for the project.
- Data Acquisition. Conduct field data acquisition and operate equipment such Trimble GPS Systems
- Problem-solving. Solve real-time problems, both technical and mechanical
- Training. Maintain the appropriate certifications and qualifications necessary for the operations performed by the company.
- Maintain equipment owned or operated by the company by keeping it secure, safe, and treating it responsibly.
- Flexibility. Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to the team’s success.
- Perform construction layout and quality control checks
- Read and interpret construction/road layout plans (This will be taught but experience is preferred)
- Adaptable to emerging technologies such as laser scanning and drones
- Able to maintain all surveying equipment including data collectors, GPS surveying gear
