Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen. Your role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in designated storage areas
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are running low
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with basic culinary terms and practices is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Skills:
- Knowledge of proper dishwashing techniques and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate dishwashing equipment safely
- Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
