Summary
As a Caregiver at Bella Vida, you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This position involves providing compassionate support and assistance with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Days/Times Needed:
Thursdays dayshift 7am-7pm May 7,14 and 21
- PRN SHIFTS DAY AND OVERNIGHT SHIFTS
Responsibilities
- Ability to show up ready to work without call offs is a must!
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Implement individualized care plans based on each resident's needs.
- Monitor and document patient observations, including changes in health or behavior.
- Provide memory care support for residents with cognitive impairments.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Communicate effectively with family members regarding resident care and progress.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents.
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening (required for all assisted living facilities, home health and like positions) is a must!
- Ability to show up ready to work without call offs is a must!
- Ability to be a friendly and communicative team player is a must (negative attitudes or drama focused individuals need not apply).
- CPR and Med Tech certification is required (*If initial 6 Hour Med Tech certificate was previously obtained and is expired, with proof of initial course completion, we will provide the updated 2 Hour certification needed). *We will provide First Aid Certification.
- Previous experience in senior care or assisted living environments is preferred, however we are willing to train a new dependable and trustworthy individual for this position.
- Strong knowledge of how to interact with Residents with Dementia preferred.
- Ability to assist residents compassionately while promoting their independence.
- Experience in memory care or working with individuals with cognitive challenges is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare nutritious meals for residents are desirable.
