Senior Machine Learning Engineer – AI Platform & Data Infrastructure

🌎 Location: Fully Remote (US-based)

⌚ Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

💵 Salary: $130,000–$165,000 Bonus Equity

We are partnered with a fast-growing technology company building next-generation, AI-powered solutions for large-scale operational and supply-chain environments. They are expanding their machine learning and data engineering capability and are now seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help build and scale their ML platform.

This is a hands-on role where you will design, build, and own production-grade ML systems, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You will work across the full machine learning lifecycle, enabling research teams, guiding technical decisions, and contributing to projects at the forefront of GenAI, automation, and intelligent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL workflows, and ML-ready datasets.
• Develop and deploy production-grade ML models in a modern AWS environment.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to operationalise ML initiatives.
• Implement best practices for data quality, model monitoring, and pipeline reliability.
• Contribute to LLM agent workflows using tools like LangChain or LangGraph.

Key Skills

• Strong experience delivering end-to-end ML systems into production.
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native ML services.
• Solid understanding of data engineering, ETL, and pipeline development (dbt a plus).
• Exposure to MLOps practices, CI/CD, and model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with LLM tooling (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).

Bonus Points

• Experience with large operational datasets (logistics, forecasting, optimisation).
• Background in SaaS, automation, or scaling AI platforms.
