Position Overview
We are seeking a Laboratory Technician I to join our client’s Quality Control team. The ideal candidate will assist in daily laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with cGLP/GMP standards and company policies.
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Responsibilities
- Perform basic laboratory tests following SOPs and maintain proper documentation.
- Comply with all safety, cGLP, GMP, and company policies.
- Wash and maintain glassware, test equipment, and laboratory work areas.
- Dispose of waste per EPA regulations.
- Prepare and maintain volumetric tests and solutions.
- Perform environmental monitoring of controlled production areas.
- Transport samples and documentation between lab areas.
- Maintain adequate lab supplies for daily operations.
- Assist Chemists and Microbiologists as needed.
- Support Laboratory Technician II and other quality operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Science preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Knowledge of GMP and safety practices.
