Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Waterproofing Crewmember to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying waterproofing materials and systems to protect structures from water intrusion, ensuring durability and longevity of building components. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure proper adhesion of waterproofing materials
- Install various waterproofing systems such as membranes, coatings, sealants, and flashing on foundations, roofs, decks, and other structures
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute waterproofing tasks
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Collaborate with team members on hardscaping construction projects including concrete forming and masonry work
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure job site environment at all times
- Assist with related building material installation tasks such as drywall, stucco, caulking, or roofing as needed
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience with a focus on waterproofing or related trades such as roofing, masonry, or carpentry
- Familiarity with construction management software like Bluebeam is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely
- Knowledge of building codes, safety protocols, and inspection procedures in construction settings
- Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid experience in plumbing or electrical work is advantageous but not required
- Driver license with clean driving record *A MUST.
