Position Summary:
The Installer is responsible for supporting the successful completion of basement waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, foundation repair, and mold remediation projects while delivering a consistent 5-star customer experience. Working closely with the Foreman and production team, this role performs hands-on construction tasks, assists with job setup and material handling, and follows approved installation methods to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to follow direction, and a willingness to learn and grow within the home services construction field. Installers must be comfortable performing physically demanding work in a variety of environments while maintaining professionalism, teamwork, and clear communication on every job site.
Duties/Requirements:
- Work toward completion of daily projects by performing assigned tasks while ensuring company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines are followed.
- Follow directions assigned by Foreman to bring jobs to completion at a pace to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Develop/expand knowledge of proper handling of materials/tools, as well as approved methods of installation of waterproofing and foundation repair.
- Assist Foreman & teammates with ensuring materials, tools, and equipment needed for each job are properly loaded into trucks
- Communicate with the Foreman throughout the job, to aid in customer understanding and enhance satisfaction with final result.
- Deliver 5-star customer service experiences in all interactions with our customers.
- Communicate with Foreman, Ops Manager and Production team regarding details of the job. Escalate concerns / issues appropriately.
- Regular and punctual attendance; ability to work overtime, flexible hours as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Working in confined workspaces that may require crawling, kneeling, crouching
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Carrying, climbing, pulling, sitting, stooping
- Ability to withstand working in different weather environments including extreme cold and heat
- Talking, hearing, walking, visual acuity to determine neatness, reading, preparing & proofreading data.
Work Experience / Qualifications:
- Construction experience, preferably a minimum of 1 year
- Good customer service skills
- Experience using power tools
- Understanding of plans/blueprints
- Verbal communication and listening skills
- Ability to write legibly and error-free
- Ability to complete physically intensive work and follow direction
