Job Summary

55 Tires & Service is looking for an experienced automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who wants excellent earning opportunities, weekends off, and a place where their experience truly matters.

We're a second-generation, family-owned shop proudly serving St. Louis since 1997. Our nine-bay facility offers full-service automotive repair, professional equipment, diagnostic resources, and an established customer base.

We're continuing to grow and looking for the right people to grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Use scan tools, wiring diagrams, and repair information to identify problems accurately.
• Perform repairs across engine, HVAC, steering, suspension, brake, and other vehicle systems.
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and document findings clearly.
• Communicate with service advisors and verify completed repairs.
• Share your knowledge and help fellow technicians work through challenging jobs.

Qualifications

• Strong professional automotive repair experience and the ability to work independently.
• Proven diagnostic skills and solid mechanical knowledge.
• Dependability, clear communication, and pride in quality workmanship.
• Professional hand tools and a valid driver's license.
• ASE certifications, manufacturer training, and Missouri inspection credentials are a plus.

You don't need a previous lead title if you're already the technician others count on.
