Office Building Cleaner

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Building Cleaner to keep our commercial spaces spotless and welcoming. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the building, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors alike. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial or custodial work, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude toward facilities maintenance.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all office areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards.
• Use specialized equipment such as buffing machines and floor care tools to keep floors polished and well-maintained.
• Assist with industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including high dusting or deep cleaning of large surfaces.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly.
• Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored, following safety guidelines.
• Help with light custodial duties such as window washing or residential painting as required.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures is essential.
• Experience with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
