Position Summary
525 Technologies is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify potential customers, generate new business opportunities, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. This position will focus on K–12 education and higher education.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective customers and key decision-makers.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach to generate leads.
- Introduce potential customers to 525 Technologies’ products and services.
- Identify customer needs, upcoming projects, and purchasing opportunities.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate prospect information and follow-up activities in HubSpot CRM.
- Build relationships with prospective customers through consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to support business development goals.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with HubSpot or other CRM systems preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Willingness to learn about technology products and services.
