Position Overview

The Head of Human Resources will build and lead the company’s people strategy as 52Launch continues to grow. This role will partner closely with founders and department leaders to establish scalable HR systems, strengthen leadership capability, and ensure a strong and professional workplace culture.

Location: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner with founders and the leadership team on organizational strategy.
  • Provide coaching to leaders on team management, performance, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support organizational design and leadership development as the company scales.

Talent & Recruiting

  • Improve onboarding and integration of new employees.
  • Build a scalable recruiting engine to support rapid growth.
  • Personally source top-tier talent for key leadership roles.
  • Develop processes for evaluating talent, performance, and growth.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Structure competitive compensation packages.
  • Select and manage employee benefit programs that support retention within budget constraints.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws.
  • Mitigate employment-related legal and organizational risks.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Define and reinforce company values.
  • Manage employee relations and workplace concerns.
  • Implement initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.

HR Systems Infrastructure

  • Establish scalable HR policies and procedures.
  • Implement performance management systems and feedback loops.
  • Ensure consistent HR practices and workplace standards across the organization.

Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Experience building or scaling HR functions in growing organizations.
  • Strong leadership coaching and organizational development capability.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills.
  • SPHR or similar certification preferred.

Success in the First Year

  • Implement structured HR policies and foundational people processes.
  • Improve leadership alignment and accountability across teams.
  • Establish performance management and development frameworks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to founders and leadership.

Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
