Mobile Auto Detailer | Flexible Part-Time Role With Strong Growth Potential

513 Auto Clean is a growing one-person mobile detailing business. I handle the leads, scheduling, website, and customer flow, and currently all detailing. I am looking for the right person to help deliver high-quality detailing work as we grow into and through the summer.

This is not a low-effort clock-in, clock-out job. It is a flexible, high-trust role for someone who wants to do excellent work, learn quickly, and grow with the business.

Pay and schedule

• W-2 employee
• Weekly pay
• Paid 2/5 of each completed job price
• Typical effective pay is $20/hour ($200 4 hour job total = $80 pay pretax)
• 100% of all tips (typically $10-50) go to you
• Longer mileage compensation built into job quotes
• Flexible schedule based on your availability
• Typical hours: 4–10 PM weekdays, flexible weekends
• Volume can range from 1–2 jobs/week up to 8–10 jobs/week (5 to 40 hours a week)

What you’ll do

You will travel to customer locations and complete mobile details using a clear checklist and service standard. Work includes interior and exterior detailing, communicating with customers on-site, handling normal customer concerns professionally, maintaining equipment, and representing the business well through your actions and mentality.

Training

• No detailing experience required
• Paid training provided
• All methods, systems, and expectations will be taught
• Safety equipment provided
• Clear checklist and quality rubric for every job

What I’m looking for

You do not need detailing experience. You do need:

• professionalism with customers
• ability to work independently
• quick learning and good follow-through
• reliable communication and availability

Prior work experience helps, but strong performance in school, side projects, sports, leadership, or other demanding environments also matters.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Willingness to keep supplies in your vehicle - a standard size sedan or similar is enough
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to do physical, multi-hour work carefully
• Valid license | Acceptable motor vehicle record | No recent serious driving issues
