Maintenance Mechanic

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment, trailers, and trucks. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Change tires and rework trailers as needed for proper function.
• Execute welding and fabrication tasks to support facility needs.
• Conduct residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance as well as mechanic duties.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Ability to weld and fabricate components as necessary for repairs or improvements is a pluls.
• Basic skills in residential painting are advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and management.
