Job Responsibilities: As a Wholesale Insurance Broker you will solicit, develop and maintain relationships with retail brokers/agencies to generate new and renewal revenue streams focused on Senior Living Casualty products and services. This role is vital to the success of the Healthcare division of SPG. As a Wholesale Insurance Producer you will be supported by leadership and service teams to achieve a high level of growth, and you will be the cornerstone of our superior customer service and will be charged with ensuring client satisfaction. Responsibilities of the Producer role include, but are not limited to: Generating and pursuing new client opportunities Presenting our services and solutions to clients Bringing new and renewal business prospects to closure Retaining clients by maintaining solid relationships Prospect, identify, develop new clients Prepare/assist in contracting of clients and any required paperwork Develop and maintain current knowledge of SPG’s core business partners and their products Work optimally with team to ensure sales targets are achieved Work with clients to ensure the optimal coverage is offered, including quoting and/or follow-up Support clients by providing technical support, product education, etc. Maintain industry memberships/licenses with regulatory bodies Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge Job Requirements: In the Wholesale Insurance Sales Producer role, you must be an independent self-starter who is able to solicit and develop strong relationships with retail agencies. We are seeking a confident professional who is not afraid of cold-calling and developing new business. Other requirements of the Producer role include, but are not limited to: Active Property and Casualty License 5 years of previous experience in sales and/or underwriting. Senior Living casualty experience. Bachelor’s degree required. Must be sales driven and enjoy business development with the ability to develop, foster and maintain excellent working relationships. Ability to understand client’s needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated. Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
