What You'll Be Doing Create and maintain customer job files, shipping records, and signed delivery tickets. Schedule and dispatch personnel, equipment, and service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer specifications or need. Learn the products produced at the plant, including product codes, billing, and receiving systems. Distribute loading instructions to drivers and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain strong communication with customers and the Heidelberg Materials team to create a safe, productive working environment. Participate in other duties or special projects as assigned. The Shift will be Monday - Friday 11:15 PM - 7:45 PM and every other Saturday 4:00 AM - 12 PM. What Are We Looking For Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in using dispatch and inventory management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Essential Experience and Skills High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work both independently and within a team. Flexibility to adjust to changing company or customer needs, with dependable and consistent attendance. Bilingual a plus. Work Environment Office setting within a plant or quarry environment. Interaction with drivers, plant personnel, and customers. Fast-paced and dynamic work conditions. Physical Demands of the Job Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer. Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. May need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
