Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Support students with fine motor skills, sensory needs, and classroom participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Alaska (or eligibility to obtain).
- NBCOT certification preferred.
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
