We are seeking a prudent Assistant Property Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned multi-family residential properties. The goal is to maximize asset value and revenue by maintaining high occupancy and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily site operations of multi-family properties ensuring smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and company regulations
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
- Respond to leasing leads in real time via phone and email
- Support marketing, leasing, maintenance, and rent collection efforts
- Supervise onsite staff, vendors, and contractors
- Negotiate contracts with contractors in a timely and reliable manner
- Help manage budgets, control expenses, and support revenue growth
- Work closely with Property Manager to meet performance goals
Qualifications:
- Experience as an Assistant Property Manager in multi-family housing is required. Experience as a Property Manager is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of property management best practices and financials
- Proficient in MS Office and property management software
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask as needed (and travel between sites, if required).
