Position Overview
12 Fountains Inc. is the parent company of a growing entertainment and real estate ecosystem that includes 5 Stars Studios, Floodgate Properties, Five Stars Academy, and related entities.The Controller will oversee all accounting operations across the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong financial controls as the organization scales.This role requires experience managing multi-entity corporate structures, project-based accounting, and investor reporting, particularly within entertainment production, real estate investment, or private equity environments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee accounting operations for 12 Fountains Inc. and all subsidiaries
- Maintain general ledger, chart of accounts, and financial controls
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities
Multi-Entity Accounting
- Supervise accounting for:
- 12 Fountains Inc. (parent corporation)
- 5 Stars Studios (film/television production)
- Floodgate Properties (real estate investments)
- Five Stars Academy (education division)
- Project-specific production LLCs
- Ensure proper intercompany accounting and reporting
Production Accounting
- Establish accounting systems for film and television production entities
- Monitor production budgets and cost reporting
- Work with production accountants and line producers
- Track investor contributions and project expenditures
Investor & Board Reporting
- Prepare financial reports for investors and the board of directors
- Assist the CFO with financial models and capital planning
- Support audits, due diligence, and institutional investor reporting
Compliance & Controls
- Implement strong internal financial controls
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards, corporate governance policies, and tax reporting requirements
- Coordinate with outside auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel
Banking & Cash Management
- Manage company bank accounts and treasury operations
- Monitor cash flow across entities
- Implement financial policies for approvals and disbursements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7–12 years accounting experience
- Experience with multi-entity corporate structures
- Experience in entertainment, media, or real estate accounting preferred
- Familiarity with production accounting systems
- Experience preparing consolidated financial statements
Skills
- Strong GAAP accounting knowledge
- Financial reporting and internal controls
- Budget management
- Accounting software systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.)
- Multi-entity accounting and consolidation

Compensation
Base Salary: $110,000 – $140,000
Bonus: 10–25% performance bonus
Optional Participation: Equity or token participation plan tied to long-term company growth
