What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Treatment/Sales Coordinator position at 5 Star Smiles?
DENTAL TREATMENT/ SALES COORDINATOR
5 Star Smiles | Coral Gables, Miami | Full-Time | In Office
Dental knowledge. Sales ability. Follow-up. Results.
5 Star Smiles is a high-end cosmetic and implant dental practice specializing in smile transformations, including porcelain veneers, smile design, implants, and complex full-mouth and All-on-X treatment.
We are looking for an experienced Dental Sales & Treatment Coordinator who understands dentistry and knows how to turn a qualified lead into a committed patient.
This is a full-time in-office position at our Coral Gables location. It is not remote.
Although you will work from our office alongside our team, sales consultations are conducted primarily by phone and occasionally by video.
We need someone who can build trust quickly, confidently explain treatment and value, handle objections, discuss significant financial investments, and close.
DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
You should have a working knowledge of dental terminology and treatments such as:
- Porcelain veneers and crowns
- Cosmetic smile design
- Dental implants
- All-on-X / full-arch treatment
- Full-mouth rehabilitation
- Extractions and bone grafting
- Root canal treatment
- Temporary and final restorations
- Basic treatment sequencing
You will not diagnose or determine treatment. You must, however, be knowledgeable enough to confidently discuss dentistry with prospective patients and know when a clinical question needs to be directed to a doctor.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Respond quickly to new leads
- Conduct phone and occasional video consultations
- Build rapport and understand each patient’s motivation
- Present high-value cosmetic and implant treatment
- Discuss treatment investments ranging from several thousand dollars to $50,000
- Explain financing and payment options
- Handle objections and ask for the commitment
- Collect deposits
- Consistently follow up with patients who don’t immediately move forward
- Re-engage older and unconverted leads
- Maintain accurate CRM notes, tasks, and follow-up
- Manage your pipeline from initial contact through conversion
- Work with our doctors and clinical team when clarification is needed
- Remain accountable for response time, contact rate, consultations, close rate, deposits and revenue
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You are confident, persuasive and exceptional on the phone. You know how to listen, build trust and identify the real reason someone may be hesitating.
You are comfortable discussing $10K–$50K treatment, financing and deposits. You understand that great sales isn’t about pressure — it’s about understanding what the patient wants, communicating value and helping them confidently decide.
You are persistent with follow-up, organized with your pipeline, comfortable using a CRM, and motivated by measurable results.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
SCHEDULE
For the first two weeks, your schedule will be Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM while you learn our doctors, treatments, pricing, financing, CRM, and sales process.
You will begin working leads and selling as soon as you are ready — potentially within your first several days.
After the first two weeks, the position requires flexibility to work evenings and Saturdays.
COMPENSATION & PERFORMANCE
This is a performance-driven sales position.
We provide the brand, marketing, clinical team, and lead opportunities. You are responsible for what happens once those opportunities reach you.
Performance is measured through response time, contact rate, consultations, follow-up, conversion rate, deposits, and revenue.
Compensation: Base Commission Performance Bonuses
