Job Summary
5 Star Services Cleaning, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking residential and commercial Cleaning Technician to assist the team or work solo when needed to complete maintenance cleanings, post construction, deep cleans and one time cleans for both commercial and residential properties.
Technicians will perform detailed cleaning, including cleaning floors, walls, windows, trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, bathrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed. Attention to detail is essential to ensure the property is professionally cleaned and ready for the owner, tenant, client, or final walkthrough. Check lists and training is provided to all employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough, intermediate, and final phases of post-construction cleaning, mainly residential and commercial cleaning
- Pick up, collect, and remove construction debris and job-site materials
- Safely move and reposition heavy items and materials as needed (not very often)
- Remove drywall dust, sawdust, dirt, residue, and construction buildup in post construction sites. Most job sites will be residential and commercial
- Remove paint splatter, adhesive, caulk, stickers, and other construction residue when appropriate
- Clean floors, walls, ceilings, trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, fixtures, and other surfaces when required
- Clean interior and exterior windows, glass, frames, and tracks as assigned
- Complete detailed kitchen and bathroom cleaning
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and detail flooring according to the surface type
- Clean hard-to-reach areas and detail areas often missed during routine cleaning
- Complete final touch-ups and prepare properties for final inspection or occupancy
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling debris, equipment, and cleaning products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project
- Work efficiently while maintaining 5 Star Services Cleaning’s quality standards
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, contractors, property owners, and team members
- Attention to detail is a must and being able to follow directions, checklists
- Able to be trusted and have the upmost integrity when in homes and commercial spaces.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in construction environments, residential homes for routine cleanings, one time cleanings, deep cleanings; as well as commercial spaces. One will be trusted with contracted, non compete contracts- you will be trusted to carry out the upmost integrity, ensuring the jobs are being completed to company standards. You will be trusted with private information, legally tied making one liable upon dishonest or destructive behaviors.
Cleaning is physically demanding and may require lifting, carrying, bending, standing for extended periods.
Previous cleaning, construction cleanup, or labor experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and listen to directions.
Traveling is required for this job. Reliable transportation is a must. Mileage paid out under Federal laws and regulations. Reliable and dependable individuals are a must on the job sites. Your performance determines pay.
