- Educate patients and families on childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief options effectively.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in California, with a focus on maternal-child health.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
