- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to family members or healthcare professionals
- Support clients in engaging with community activities or hobbies to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home care or related settings preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills with a caring and respectful demeanor
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and instructions accurately
- Knowledge of basic health monitoring techniques and emergency procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Experience with diverse populations including geriatrics, post-acute care, or outpatient services is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as CPR or First Aid are advantageous but not mandatory
