🕒 Shifts Available: 12-Hour Day Shifts

🗓 Schedule Options: Full-Time (3 days/week) or Part-Time (2 days/week)
💲 Pay Range: $15.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience and certification)

5 Star Cares is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers to support higher-acuity and Level 2 patients in our group home settings. This role is ideal for professionals who have hands-on experience in acute care hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, or skilled nursing environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centered care.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Support residents with activities of daily living in a respectful and dignified manner
- Accurately document care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assist individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or mental health needs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
- Safely operate and utilize standard care equipment
✔ Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or long-term/skilled nursing care
- Comfortable caring for Level 2 and higher-acuity patients
- Current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Reliable, compassionate, and committed to quality care
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and assist with transfers
- Must pass ACHA Level 2 background screening
- Experience with behavioral health and/or developmental disabilities preferred
