Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist supports daily HR operations and manages a broad range of employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations. This role partners with leadership and other departments to ensure HR processes are efficient, organized, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, ensuring completion of required documentation, background checks, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with policies and labor laws
- Support managers with performance management processes, coaching documentation, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist in resolving employee concerns and minor conflicts, escalating matters when appropriate.
- Coordinate with IT to track company-issued equipment and system access
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments and employee inquiries
- Track PTO and other leave usage and follow up as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and workplace concerns
- Support performance documentation and disciplinary processes
- Assist with reporting, audits, and general HR and office administrative tasks
- Maintain confidentiality in all employee matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of HR experience preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to follow instructions and must have satisfactory written and communication skills
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
