Agency 5 is seeking a creative Freelance Content Creation & Digital Marketing Specialist to support our growing brand portfolio. This role is perfect for someone who excels in content creation, email marketing, and digital strategy, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, flexible environment. Agency 5 is in house marketing agency for 5 hour energy and a portfolio of companies.
This is an independent contractor position with a maximum of 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (Required – Approx. 15 hrs/week)
- Plan and oversee product photoshoots with internal team members
- Capture product photos and videos for digital use
- Edit photo and video content for website, email, ads, and social media
- Write social media captions aligned with brand voice
- Build and maintain a social media content calendar
- Schedule content using Sprout Social
Email Marketing (Approx. 10 hrs/week)
- Create and optimize weekly promotional emails
- Write email copy and design templates
- Monitor list performance and maintain list health
SEO (Optional – Approx. 10 hrs/week)
- Optimize website and Meta content for search engines
- Add image alt tags and improve metadata
- Use Yoast SEO to enhance keyword visibility
- Write SEO-optimized blog content
Influencer Outreach (Optional – Approx. 5 hrs/week)
- Identify and evaluate influencer partners
- Conduct outreach and coordinate collaborations
- Work with legal to finalize influencer agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media, or digital marketing
- Proficient in photo/video capture and editing tools
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
- Understanding of SEO best practices (Yoast experience a plus)
- Experience using Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar tools
- Highly organized, creative, and detail-oriented
