Equipment Operator
4X Gravel, LLC — Fort Morgan, CO
Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday with some Saturday work as needed
4X Gravel is a growing gravel and aggregate company located near Fort Morgan, Colorado. We are expanding our crew and looking for a dependable Equipment Operator to help with daily pit and plant operations.
This position may include operating loaders, excavators, dozers, skid steers, and other equipment used in gravel production, truck loading, stockpile management, plant support, cleanup, and general yard work.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate heavy equipment in a gravel pit/aggregate production setting
- Load customer and haul trucks accurately and efficiently
- Feed and support crushing/screening plant operations
- Move, stockpile, and maintain material piles
- Perform basic daily equipment inspections
- Communicate with plant crew, scale house, and management
- Help with general maintenance, cleanup, fueling, greasing, and yard work
- Follow company safety policies and site procedures
Requirements:
- Heavy equipment operating experience preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- Must be safety-minded and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Willingness to work some Saturdays when production requires it
- Must be able to pass any required site safety requirements
Preferred but not required:
- MSHA training
- Experience in gravel, aggregate, mining, construction, oilfield, or heavy civil work
- Loader experience
- Crushing/screening plant experience
- Basic maintenance or mechanical ability
