Clinical Therapist – Substance Use Disorder Treatment

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Master’s-Level Clinical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary treatment team serving adult females in a residential substance use disorder treatment setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience in addiction treatment, strong clinical and documentation skills, and a working knowledge of The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition and DSM-5-TR. This position requires the ability to provide individualized, evidence-based, trauma-informed care while working collaboratively with other members of the treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekly individual therapy sessions for a caseload of up to eight clients.
- Facilitate structured group therapy sessions.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans weekly.
- Complete timely progress notes and weekly ASAM documentation.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and other clinical assessments as needed.
- Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Monitor client progress, treatment needs, relapse risks, barriers, and recovery goals throughout treatment.
- Complete recovery plans, aftercare plans, discharge summaries, outcome measures, and client satisfaction surveys as required throughout the course of treatment.
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive client care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
- Provide services consistent with applicable Kentucky BHSO/AODE requirements, CARF standards, professional ethics, confidentiality requirements, and organizational policies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addiction Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Current Kentucky professional credential such as LPCA, LPCC, LCSW, or LCADC.
- Experience in substance use disorder/addiction treatment preferred.
- Working knowledge of The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition and DSM-5-TR.
- Experience providing individual and group therapy preferred.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, relapse prevention, trauma-informed care, and person-centered treatment.
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
