4stay is an on- and off-campus housing solution for higher education institutions and schools, connecting them with housing providers who offer furnished accommodations—including student residences, dormitories, homestays, co-living spaces, individual hosts, and roommates. 4stay is seeking a dedicated, full-time, live-in Student Housing Manager for our Lubbock, Texas location to oversee day-to-day operations and foster a vibrant student community.
Primary Responsibilities
- On-Site Presence & Leadership: Serve as 4stay’s primary on-site representative. Live on the property to oversee daily operations, ensure community safety, and maintain a high standard of living for all residents.
- Operations & Communication: Act as the vital bridge between on-site activities and the remote corporate team, ensuring all deadlines are met and updates are communicated effectively.
- Documentation: Meticulously document all property actions, incidents, and maintenance requests in accordance with company protocols.
- Tours & Orientations: Conduct professional property tours for prospective residents and lead comprehensive student orientations using provided materials.
- Property Inspections: Perform regular, detailed inspections of apartments and common areas. Promptly document and report any damages, maintenance needs, or safety concerns to the 4stay management team.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for after-hours and weekend emergencies, demonstrating the ability to promptly address, de-escalate, and resolve issues within 24 hours (or immediately, depending on severity).
Secondary Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Relations: Maintain positive, professional relationships with students, university coordinators, clients, vendors, and local contractors.
- Community Setup & Logistics: Coordinate and assist in the physical setup of housing communities, including final premises inspections, furniture procurement/inventory, and utility installations.
- Notice & Entry Compliance: Provide appropriate, professional advance written notice to students prior to entering apartments for scheduled maintenance or inspections.
- Turnover Management: Conduct rigorous move-out inspections and ensure all apartments/houses are perfectly cleaned, staged, and prepared before key turnover to incoming residents.

- Relevant training in property management, housing regulations, and leasing procedures is a strong plus.
- Credentials or a proven background in student housing, student engagement, and campus life are highly valued.
