Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, and styling for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions through proper handling and restraint techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, tools, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options.
• Recognize signs of health issues or distress in animals and communicate these observations to pet owners or veterinary staff as necessary.
• Assist in the care of animals in the facility, including feeding, walking, and general supervision.
• Handle heavy lifting when necessary, particularly with larger breeds or equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in pet grooming for minimum 2 years
• Experience in dog training, animal handling, or kennel work is highly valued.
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols is essential.
• Strong customer service skills are necessary to build rapport with pet owners and ensure satisfaction.
• A background in equine care or pet sitting can be beneficial but is not mandatory. Join our team where your love for animals can shine through your work!

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per day
